Challenging ourselves to bring new and original ways of thinking

ACME was established and incorporated in Melbourne, Victoria on 19th July 2012 as a non-profit organisation that aims to serve as an avenue for advocacy and networking among entrepreneurs from Australia’s ever-growing multicultural communities.

The organisation encourages and supports its members to expand their network and learn from one another to help them achieve the full potential of their entrepreneurial endeavours.

ACME’s primary mission is to encourage small business entrepreneurs from Australia’s various ethnic and multicultural communities to come together to discuss solutions for their entrepreneurial concerns. It also serves as the link for mainstream Australian businesses to explore potential opportunities in the members’ countries of origin.

The Council’s objectives are:

  • To promote small businesses owned or operated by entrepreneurs from ethnic and multicultural communities;

  • To facilitate the sharing of information and expertise that may assist existing and newly established small businesses of ACME members and encourage those who are looking to set up a small business;

  • To establish ACME’s presence initially in the capital and major cities of Australia and eventually nationwide; and

  • To actively participate and contribute to Australia’s economic growth by assisting members’ overseas business ventures and partnerships.
